The “Architechture and Design”guided tourat the Ahlström Voyage exhibition, address Makkarakoskentie 34B. Admission 20 €/person or if bought online, 18.00 €.
The public tour focuses on the history of the ironworks and the company from the point of view of architecture and design. During the tour, visitors will learn more about the Iittala, Karhula and Riihimäki glass factories that once belonged to the company. Visitors will also learn about the impact that Alvar and Aino Aalto had on the ironworks area.
There is also a small museum shop where you can buy ironworks products, small textiles, postcards and art books.
