On Sunday, January 27, 1918, a civil war broke out in Helsinki. The war reached Noormarkku already on the following day, when guards with red armbands set up checkpoints at the intersections of roads. This began a long chain of events, the effects of which were visible in Noormarkku for a very long time.
The guided tour explores the events of the 1918 Civil War, their background and the numerous effects that the war that divided Finland had on both the company and the Ahlström family. The duration of the tour is approximately 50–60 minutes.
At the Noormarkku Club restaurant, a three-course manor lunch is served to tables between 12.00 and 15.00. The price of the lunch is 38.00 €/person. Please book your table in advance.
